Senior Machine Learning Engineer I at Apollo.io

Apollo.io is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their Intelligence team. This role is remote and based in India. Apollo.io is a go-to-market solution trusted by numerous companies. The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for building and productionizing Machine Learning (ML) models and algorithms for various Apollo products. The Intelligence team's mission is to leverage Apollo’s data to understand and predict user behaviors and optimize their experience.Responsibilities include:

• Designing, building, evaluating, deploying, and iterating on scalable Machine Learning systems.
• Understanding and improving the Machine Learning stack at Apollo.
• Building systems that help Apollo personalize user experiences.
• Evaluating the performance of machine learning systems against business objectives.
• Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines that power algorithms.
• Implementing automated monitoring, alerting, and self-healing features.
• Writing unit/integration tests and contributing to engineering wiki.

Requirements:

• Bachelors, Masters, or a PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields or related work experience
• 5+ years of experience building Machine Learning or AI systems.
• Experience deploying and managing machine learning models in the cloud.
• Experience working with fine tuning LLMs and prompt engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven software engineering skills in a production environment, primarily using Python.
• Experience with Machine Learning software tools and libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, etc.).
