Job Description
Verra Mobility is seeking a Systems Technician to support the repair and testing of camera-based speed enforcement systems. The Systems Technician will provide remote technical support to field teams and customers, manage stores and track inventory, assist with booking and reporting, and occasionally cover logistics tasks. The role is based in Southampton, England.
The role involves:
- Repairing and testing hardware systems.
- Managing and tracking stores and equipment.
- Delivering remote support to field teams.
- Maintaining accurate technical and inventory documentation.
- Collaborating with Engineering, Logistics, and Field Services teams.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Complying with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Participating in installations, testing, and commissioning where required.
Requirements:
- Background in system repair, IT hardware/software, and networking.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, safety-first mindset.
- Relevant diploma or equivalent experience repairing electronic componentry.
- Valid UK driver’s license.
- Ability to manage a varied technical workload.
