Job Description
Verra Mobility is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join their supply chain team at their National Head Office in South Melbourne. This is a permanent, full-time role where the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the accurate and efficient management of inward goods and inventory associated with the maintenance and production of road safety tech products.
The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, inspecting incoming shipments, organizing inventory, and coordinating with other departments to fulfill critical client orders.
Role Involves:
- Receiving, inspecting, and dispatching goods.
- Managing material orders and registers.
- Supporting accurate stock takes.
- Storing, labeling, and tracking raw materials, tools, and components.
- Preparing packing lists and dispatch documentation.
- Booking carriers and routing shipments.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
- Assisting internal teams with material requests.
- Contributing to inventory accuracy.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborating with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Conducting tasks in line with OH&S requirements.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of electronic components.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Expertise in safe manual handling practices.
- Proficiency in SAP and ERP.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Experience in shipping practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid Australian Drivers License.
- Walkie stacker experience.
