Ava Labs is seeking a Senior Protocol Engineer to join their blockchain development team. The company aims to redefine how people create value with Web3 by simplifying the deployment of high-performance solutions on Avalanche. This role involves extending the Avalanche Primary Network to make Subnets more accessible and designing abstractions over the EVM. The ideal candidate will contribute to open-source code, work collaboratively, and possess a strong focus on code quality and performance.Responsibilities:

• Extending the Avalanche Primary Network.
• Designing abstractions over the EVM.
• Writing and maintaining low-level libraries.
• Making P-Chain uptime voting more scalable.
• Transitioning Subnets to use dynamic fees.
• Augmenting the security of Permissionless Subnets.
• Enabling Cross-Subnet Communication.
