Technology Lead

Huge is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Lead to drive the evolution and innovation of a critical platform. The ideal candidate will lead a talented engineering team to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions. This role involves fostering a culture of technical excellence, driving strategic architectural decisions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Advocating for technical solutions that deliver measurable business value.
• Partnering with product managers to define technical requirements.
• Presenting project statuses and technical solutions to senior leadership.
• Making critical technical decisions, balancing innovation with stability.
• Driving the integration and optimization of AI/ML capabilities using GCP services.
• Leading efforts to improve maintainability, scalability, and extensibility.
• Identifying critical capabilities, gaps, and architectural roadblocks.
• Creating detailed architectural blueprints and technical documentation.
• Leading and mentoring technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborating with data scientists and engineers to prototype and optimize models.
• Conducting technical reviews and evaluations of components.
• Driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with creative teams and UI engineers to define efficient solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years leading large-scale technology engagements.
• Familiarity with ML/ AI technologies such as LLMs, NLP, computer vision, etc.
• Strong track record of making sound technical decisions.
• Deep understanding of security best practices and experience with security audits.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively.
• A demonstrated product mindset.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
• Experience leading teams leveraging Python and TypeScript.
• Clear understanding of AI techniques such as agents, RAG, semantic routing and caching.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Appreciation for design and user experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. GCP certifications, AI/ML/Data certifications) are a plus.
• Relevant security certifications are highly desirable (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC).
