SpecterOps is seeking a technically proficient Community Manager with a strong background in cybersecurity and open-source communities. This role, within the marketing organization, requires a passionate individual who excels in content creation, video production, and social media engagement. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between SpecterOps and the broader security community, driving adoption and growth of SpecterOps’ open-source products, while highlighting the value of wider research, training, products, and services undertaken by the company.Role involves:
- Cultivating and managing relationships within the open-source security community.
- Developing high-quality content, including technical articles, tutorials, demos, and videos.
- Strategizing and executing social media campaigns.
- Organizing events that promote knowledge sharing and community building.
- Gathering and analyzing feedback from the community.
- Collaborating with marketing, product development, and support teams.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience with open-source security tools, particularly BloodHound, is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to create engaging written and visual content.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms.
- Ability to analyze community metrics.
- Collaborative attitude.
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background investigation.
