Job Description
IGH, supported by GI Alliance, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for its Indianapolis location. This role involves providing patient services under physician supervision in both hospital and clinic settings. The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for completing patient histories and physicals, determining tentative diagnoses, ordering lab tests, and counseling patients and families. They will also participate in continuing education and work a flexible schedule.
  • Provide scheduled patient services
  • Complete patient histories and physicals
  • Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
  • Counsel patient and family on health and disease
  • Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements
  • Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements include a state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, with gastrointestinal experience preferred.
