Job Description
Arizona Digestive Health (ADH) - Mesa, supported by GI Alliance, is seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This role involves providing scheduled patient services under physician supervision in an outpatient setting. The clinician will complete patient histories and physicals, determine tentative diagnoses, order lab tests, and counsel patients and families. They will also participate in continuing education and work a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in an outpatient clinic setting
- Completing patient histories and physicals
- Determining tentative diagnoses and ordering appropriate laboratory tests
- Counseling patients and families on health and disease
- Participating in continuing education
- Working a flexible schedule
The role requires:
- State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Gastrointestinal experience preferred
The role offers:
- 4-day work week
- No call or hospital responsibilities
- Base salary plus bonus potential
