Senior Backend Engineer(Golang) - PerfectScale by DoiT

Job Description

DoiT is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their EMEA engineering team, focusing on the PerfectScale platform. This role involves working on core backend solutions, powering the data pipeline and business logic. The Senior Backend Engineer will collaborate with product managers and other developers, contributing to product decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product, devops, backend, and frontend engineers to deliver solutions.
• Implement features from proposal through design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Write clean and maintainable code using engineering best practices.
• Improve the health of the codebase and address technical debt.
• Provide feedback during planning and discussions to identify challenges.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• 6+ years of backend development experience (Go/Java/Rust/Python).
• 3+ years of commercial Golang experience.
• 2+ years of experience with high traffic / high load distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including performance / schema / query optimization (ClickHouse and PostgreSQL are a plus).
• Experience developing enterprise-grade SaaS products, microservices, and containers (Docker).
• Familiarity with modern DevOps frameworks and best practices (Docker, K8s, GitOps, CI/CD).
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Proactive approach and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
