Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) - PerfectScale by DoiT (Albania)

Job Description

DoiT is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their EMEA engineering teams for PerfectScale, a Kubernetes optimization and management solution. The engineer will collaborate with product managers and other developers to deliver solutions for complex problems, implement features, write clean and maintainable code, improve the codebase, and provide feedback during planning and discussions.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with product, DevOps, backend, and frontend engineers.
• Implementing features from proposal to maintenance.
• Writing clean and maintainable code.
• Improving the health of the codebase.
• Providing feedback to the team.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills in English.
• 6+ years of backend development experience (Go/Java/Rust/Python).
• 3+ years of commercial Golang experience.
• 2+ years of experience with high traffic/high load distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience developing enterprise-grade SaaS products, microservices, and containers.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps frameworks and best practices.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Proactive approach and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-organized and goal-oriented.
