Job Description

DoiT is seeking a Technical Writer to join their UX/UI team in EMEA. The Technical Writer will take a customer-centric approach to documentation, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and designers to identify documentation needs. The ideal candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, native-level proficiency in English, and an appetite to learn new technical concepts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Becoming a subject matter expert in DoiT's product.
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining customer-facing documentation at the DoiT Help Center and the Developer Hub.
  • Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and designers to gain an in-depth understanding of the product portfolio.
  • Managing multiple documentation tasks in any given sprint.
  • Contributing to other technical knowledge articles at DoiT.
  • Participating in tooling and process improvements.

Requirements include:

  • 4+ years of experience in writing, editing, and reviewing technical documentation for B2B SaaS products.
  • Basic understanding of cloud technology (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes).
  • Experience and knowledge of DocOps.
  • Proven ability to gather information from multiple channels and synthesize it into a cohesive narrative.
  • Proven ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-organized and self-motivated.
  • Experience building documentation websites with static site generators and markup languages.
  • Understanding of API best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
