Job Description
DoiT is seeking a Technical Writer to join its UX/UI team in EMEA. This is a remote role based in either Spain, the United Kingdom, or Ireland. The Technical Writer will take a customer-centric approach to documentation, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and designers to identify documentation needs. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Become a subject matter expert in our product
  • Create, update and maintain customer-facing documentation at DoiT Help Center and the Developer Hub
  • Collaborate with Product managers, engineers, and designers
  • Manage multiple documentation tasks in any given sprint
  • Participate in tooling and process improvements

Requirements:
  • 4+ years experience in writing, editing, and reviewing technical documentation for B2B SaaS products
  • Basic understanding of cloud technology, e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes
  • Experience and knowledge of DocOps
  • Proven ability to gather information from multiple channels
  • Proven ability to operate with flexibility
  • Self-organized and a self-motivated individual
  • Experience building documentation websites with static site generators and markup languages like Markdown/MDX; proficiency with docs-as-code tools like GitHub
  • Understanding API best practices; familiar with API specs and documentation tools
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
