Job Description
DoiT is seeking a Technical Writer to join its UX/UI team in EMEA. This is a remote role based in either Spain, the United Kingdom, or Ireland. The Technical Writer will take a customer-centric approach to documentation, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and designers to identify documentation needs. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
Responsibilities: - Become a subject matter expert in our product
- Create, update and maintain customer-facing documentation at DoiT Help Center and the Developer Hub
- Collaborate with Product managers, engineers, and designers
- Manage multiple documentation tasks in any given sprint
- Participate in tooling and process improvements
Requirements: - 4+ years experience in writing, editing, and reviewing technical documentation for B2B SaaS products
- Basic understanding of cloud technology, e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes
- Experience and knowledge of DocOps
- Proven ability to gather information from multiple channels
- Proven ability to operate with flexibility
- Self-organized and a self-motivated individual
- Experience building documentation websites with static site generators and markup languages like Markdown/MDX; proficiency with docs-as-code tools like GitHub
- Understanding API best practices; familiar with API specs and documentation tools
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
