Job Description
DoiT is seeking a Country Manager for Japan to lead and grow their business in the region. This role, reporting to the VP of Sales for EMEA & APAC, requires a strategic leader to develop and implement a business growth plan, foster key client and vendor relationships, and manage the sales team. The Country Manager will also be responsible for aligning go-to-market strategies with global stakeholders and positioning DoiT as a trusted cloud innovation partner in Japan.

Role involves:
  • Serving as a Representative Director of the Japan entity.
  • Developing a strategic business plan and setting revenue goals.
  • Growing, developing, and coaching the Japan sales team.
  • Managing relationships with key customers and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of an effective marketing plan.
  • Tracking market trends and identifying new market development opportunities.
  • Maintaining executive relationships with strategic cloud vendors.

Requirements:
  • Degree in business management, marketing, economics, or an associated field.
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, direct sales, channel & account management.
  • Proven experience selling to local technology companies and startups.
  • Deep understanding and networking in the cloud ecosystem.
  • Successful track record of hiring and leading a winning sales team.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with independence, creativity, and passion.
  • Strong networking and partnership-building abilities.
  • Data-driven and self-organized with a focus on strategy.
  • Experience working with international, cross-cultural, and cross-time-zone teams.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
