Job Description
DoiT is seeking a Country Manager for Japan to lead the company's sales efforts and drive business growth in the region. This role is a remote position based in Japan and will be an integral part of the APAC sales leadership team. The Country Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing ambitious business growth plans to achieve revenue increases and profit targets. They will also be tasked with nurturing key relationships with target customers and strategic vendor partners.Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the representative director of the Japanese corporation.
  • Develop and execute a regional strategic business plan with clear revenue and pipeline goals.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team, ensuring they accurately forecast and report to senior management.
  • Effectively manage relationships with current key customers, identify growth opportunities, and ensure top-tier customer retention.
  • Support the differentiation of DoiT in the market against competitors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing plans.
  • Actively research, track, and report on key market trends and competitors to identify new market development opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop executive-level relationships with strategic cloud vendors.
  • Implement methods to improve sales team productivity and skills.
  • Develop and maintain an annual hiring plan.
  • Work with the business operations team to identify and resolve scaling challenges.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Set and exemplify company values and culture, recognizing and promoting team members.
  • Oversee large deal reviews and discount approvals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, direct sales, and channel & account management.
  • Proven track record of selling to regional technology companies and startups.
  • Deep understanding and networking within the cloud ecosystem.
  • Successful experience in recruiting and leading winning sales teams.
  • Independent, creative, passionate, and approachable entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to easily create, participate in, and grow social circles and partnerships.
  • Data-driven, self-organized, and willing to engage in hands-on work without losing strategic focus.
  • Experience working with international, intercultural, and teams in different time zones.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
