Monzo is seeking an Information Security Manager to join its Information Security Squad. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building security processes that enable the bank to operate efficiently while safeguarding customers. The Information Security Manager will lead information security projects, support the development of Monzo EU, represent Security in business projects, and manage the third-party security program. They will also draft security policies, mentor Security Analysts, stay ahead of emerging security threats, and collaborate with internal audit and risk teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead information security projects.
  • Lead security efforts for Monzo EU.
  • Provide ongoing information security support for Monzo EU.
  • Represent Security in business projects.
  • Manage and enhance the third-party security program.
  • Draft security policies and procedures.
  • Mentor and develop Security Analysts.
  • Stay ahead of new security threats and emerging risks.
  • Work closely with internal audit and risk teams.

Requirements:
  • Excitement about Security and a desire to improve Information Security at Monzo.
  • Experience managing projects across various security domains.
  • Working towards a recognized security qualification such as CISSP.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfort working autonomously and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfort working with data and using it to drive improvements.
  • Comfort reading and interpreting technical requirements, regulations, and procedures.
  • Enthusiasm for doing things differently.

What Monzo Offers:
