Job Description
Constructor Tech is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their Agentic AI team. The company is revolutionizing scientific discovery by empowering researchers with intelligent AI assistants. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying the core platform that orchestrates autonomous AI agents and toolchains for diverse scientific workflows. The Machine Learning Engineer will collaborate with research scientists, data engineers, UX designers, and DevOps to turn cutting‑edge AI research into production‑grade features. Constructor Tech headquarters is situated in Switzerland, and it has entities in Germany, Bulgaria, Serbia, Turkey, and Singapore.
Role Involves:
- Architecting and implementing a modular, microservices‑based agentic AI platform.
- Developing robust APIs and SDKs for seamless integration of AI assistants and external tools.
- Building and integrating autonomous agents leveraging LLMs, RAG, and reinforcement learning.
- Incorporating specialized tools for literature research, knowledge mapping, gap finding, computational research, and results analysis.
- Fine-tuning and benchmarking LLMs and other deep learning architectures.
- Implementing efficient inference pipelines and caching strategies.
- Working in cross-functional Agile teams and ensuring high code quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- 3+ years developing production‑scale ML/AI systems, ideally involving agentic or multi‑agent frameworks.
- Proven track record with LLMs, RAG architectures, and knowledge graph technologies.
- Expertise in Python and familiarity with Rust, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Neo4j, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP/Azure.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
