Job Description
Legend Biotech is seeking a Senior Principal/Principal Scientist to join their Bioanalytic Sciences team. This role is crucial for developing and overseeing molecular and NGS-based assays that support cell and gene therapy programs from preclinical stages through clinical trials. The scientist will focus on autologous and allogeneic CAR-T, NK, γδT, and in vivo CAR-T gene editing therapies. They will be responsible for designing and executing sequencing experiments, leading data analysis, managing vendors, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Role Involves:
- Leading and executing NGS-based assays for gene editing and cell therapy applications.
- Performing bioinformatics analysis of sequencing data.
- Working with CROs for sample submission, assay development, and data transfer.
- Maintaining documentation of experiments and ensuring regulatory alignment.
Requirements:
- Expertise in NGS techniques, including single-cell RNA sequencing.
- Hands-on experience with gene editing tools and genetic modification of human cells.
- Experience in designing on- and off-target analysis assays.
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools for NGS data analysis.
- Working knowledge of GLP, GCP, and regulatory expectations for gene and cell therapy bioanalytical assays.
