Facilities Cleaning Program Lead

Job Description

Legend Biotech is seeking a Facilities Cleaning Program Lead to join their Technical Operations team in Raritan, NJ. This role is within the Maintenance and Metrology team and will be responsible for managing the 3rd shift cleaners to ensure the facility meets aseptic requirements for Manufacturing and Quality Control Labs. The lead will communicate updates to the 1st shift facilities and operations teams and ensure all 3rd shift cleaners are compliant with training and GMP. Role involves:

• Leading the 3rd shift cleaning team.
• Communicating with stakeholders about cleaning issues.
• Performing daily facility walkthroughs.
• Enforcing policies and procedures.
• Ensuring availability of cleaning materials.
• Supporting cleaning for maintenance shutdowns.
• Inspecting the facility's physical appearance.
• Reporting unsafe conditions.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (Associate’s preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in GMP facilities.
• Good understanding of facility cleanings per agency guidance.
• Experience working in a Pharmaceutical / GMP facility.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with internal customers and external vendors.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Quality Management knowledge (Change control, Deviation, and CAPA’s).
• Knowledge of EHS and regulatory standards.
• Bilingual preferred (English / Spanish).
