Job Description

Carrot Fertility is seeking a Director of Communications to lead its external communications strategy. This role involves media relations, executive thought leadership, speaking engagements, awards, and social media. The Director will develop and implement communication strategies to promote Carrot’s mission of fertility care for all. They will collaborate with cross-functional partners, including executive leaders, customer success, commercial, and product teams.

Responsibilities:

Set and execute a data-driven communication strategy aligned with company goals
Develop executive communication campaigns with clear KPIs
Lead executive thought leadership opportunities
Identify relevant news angles and develop proactive communication plans
Write and distribute pitches, press releases, and announcements
Organize press events and prepare executive spokespeople
Develop original surveys and own report writing
Manage PR agency partner
Foster collaboration across departments
Seek new channels, partnerships, and initiatives to expand Carrot’s reach
Optimize resource allocation for communication initiatives
Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks, risks, and reputation challenges
Foster relationships with existing healthcare, business, and technology press
Regularly measure and report on communications performance
