Job Description
Carrot Fertility is seeking a Manager, Payments to oversee the Claims Processing team and member communications. This role involves managing team schedules, hiring and developing Claims Processors, and working with the Director of Payments to implement operational improvements. The Manager will drive operational excellence by monitoring KPIs and individual metrics. This position is based in Des Moines, Iowa, and requires availability Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM CT.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day claims processing operations and member communications.
- Manage schedules and duties of Claims Processors.
- Hire and develop high-performing Claims Processors.
- Evaluate, test, and implement departmental and operational improvements.
- Monitor and hold team members accountable to KPIs and metrics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or related SAAS technology.
- Experience leading a high-growth team dedicated to service.
- Extensive customer service and people management skills.
- Proven experience scaling a global team.
- Passion for the family-forming space.
- Track record of exceeding targets and SLAs.
- Performance management and development skills.
- Ability to build consensus and communicate effectively.
- Ability to implement process enhancements.
- Business acumen and customer awareness.
