Job Description
Grammarly is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to join their Engineering teams. This role involves shipping user-focused interfaces, collaborating with Product and Design teams, and working with various functional teams across the Engineering organization. Grammarly's engineers have the freedom to innovate and influence the product roadmap. The company offers a dynamic hybrid working model, providing a balance of focus time and in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities:
  • Shipping production-grade code to over 40 million daily active users.
  • Growing and maintaining the team’s technical excellence by harnessing best practices for the team and product.
  • Contributing to the technical culture of the company.
  • Harnessing engagement metrics to identify and build new impactful features.
  • Working on fun and technically challenging projects to deliver impactful apps on popular browsers.
  • Using React and TypeScript while building super refined and elegant user interfaces.
  • Collaborating widely with internal teams such as Core, Growth, Enterprise, Trust, and Data to deliver delightful product offerings to our customers.
  • Making a meaningful impact on the lives of writers everywhere!

Requirements:
  • 5+ Years of experience.
  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Understanding common vulnerabilities in web apps and how to avoid/eliminate them.
  • Experience defining/using APIs to build new interfaces.
  • Experience building apps using React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, etc.
  • Understanding the constraints of responsive design across various screen sizes or input methods.
