Senior Developer Success Engineer

Job Description

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Senior Developer Success Engineer to serve as the frontline technical expert for its developer community. In this role, the individual will assist users in deploying and scaling Temporal in cloud-native environments, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and optimize performance by developing automation solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive on solving distributed systems challenges and enhancing the developer experience.

What This Role Involves:

• Learning cloud-native, highly scalable infrastructure spanning AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and microservices.
• Debugging complex infrastructure issues and optimizing cloud performance.
• Developing observability solutions and automating infrastructure operations.
• Engaging with developers, engineering teams, and product teams to understand infrastructure challenges.
• Influencing platform improvements and developing self-service infrastructure solutions.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a developer, preferably fluent in Python, Java, Golang, or TypeScript.
• Experience with deployment and managing medium to large-scale architectures (e.g., Kubernetes or Docker).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Minimum of one year experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
