Software Engineer I (Consumer Servicing)

Job Description

Affirm is seeking a Software Engineer I to join their AI Agents engineering team within the Servicing Engineering organization. This role is remote in Canada. The team focuses on providing a conversational first point of contact for Affirm's customers, orchestrating systems to continuously find solutions. The ideal candidate will take ownership and execute whatever is necessary.What this role involves:

What the candidate needs to have:

• Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin.
• Ability to translate a problem into a solution that interacts with multiple software components.
• Comfort navigating a large code base and debugging others' code.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
