Affirm is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead their Cloud Cost Management team. The Senior Manager will collaborate with Finance and Engineering leadership to meet financial targets, shaping Affirm's strategy for managing a multi-million dollar annual spend. They will drive business and engineering metrics while promoting reliability, security, and productivity.Role involves:

• Developing frameworks, systems, and tools for infrastructure cost management.
• Collaborating with Finance and Engineering leadership on financial targets.
• Leading technical decisions, projects, and roadmaps.
• Driving business and engineering metrics.
• Leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
• Collaborating with tech leads, program managers, and product managers.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in managing diverse teams and delivering cross-functional technical programs.
• Proven track record in stakeholder management and successful delivery.
• Expertise in managing large-scale compute and data processing systems.
• Expertise in scaling technologies like Kubernetes, Redis, MySQL, and Kafka.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Deep experience in cloud infrastructure.
