Affirm is seeking a People Planning & Initiatives Program Manager to oversee the strategy, execution, and oversight of strategic initiatives within the People team. This role involves managing the People team’s strategic portfolio, ensuring alignment with Affirm’s priorities, tracking progress, and optimizing execution. The ideal candidate will turn ideas into actionable strategies and drive execution across the People team, ensuring clarity, focus, and timely delivery.
What This Role Involves: - Supporting strategic planning and budget processes.
- Implementing a portfolio management strategy.
- Supporting the CPO with critical needs.
- Developing high-quality communications for various audiences.
- Establishing consistent project management practices.
- Streamlining People Team operations and driving process improvements.
What Affirm is Looking For: - 5–6 years of experience in program management, strategic operations, or consulting.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to identify risks and deliver impactful results.
- Strategic thinker with attention to detail.
- Experience working with senior leaders.
- Familiarity with change management frameworks (a plus).
