Affirm is seeking a strategic and experienced program manager to oversee the People team's strategic initiatives. This role involves managing the team's strategic portfolio, ensuring alignment with Affirm's priorities, tracking progress, and optimizing execution. The Program Manager will turn ideas into actionable strategies and drive execution across the People team, ensuring clarity, focus, and timely delivery.
Role Involves:
- Supporting annual fiscal year strategic planning and budget planning.
- Implementing a portfolio management strategy.
- Supporting the CPO with critical needs and requirements.
- Developing high-quality written and oral communications.
- Establishing consistent project management practices.
- Streamlining People Team operations and driving process improvements.
Requirements:
- 5–6 years of experience in program management, portfolio management, strategic operations, consulting, or a chief-of-staff role within a People/HR function.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to identify risks, streamline processes, and deliver impactful results.
- Strategic thinker with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with senior leaders and executives.
- Familiarity with change management frameworks and tools is a plus.
