Director of Product Management, Marketplace

Job Description

Affirm is seeking a Director of Product Management, Marketplace to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of consumer financial services, commerce, and payments. The Director will be responsible for building and executing the Marketplace vision and strategy, focusing on balancing supply and demand and owning the end-to-end vertical experience. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and build solutions that enable Affirm at scale.Role involves:

• Ensuring efficient value transfer between users, partners, and Affirm.
• Building delightful consumer experiences for mobile and web.
• Aligning with Go-To-Market teams for opportunity delivery.
• Providing visibility into key workstreams and programs.
• Driving product innovation and making strategic decisions.
• Identifying new product opportunities and driving a comprehensive roadmap.
• Interacting effectively with senior leaders.
• Attracting and developing a team of talented product managers.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of product management experience in the software tech industry.
• Track record of launching products at scale.
• Experience managing supply and demand of a two-sided marketplace.
• Solid technical skills.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Experience balancing time to market and rigor.
• Ability to identify product opportunities through data analysis and research.
