Job Description
Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their Merchant Growth team. In this role, the individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, launch, and grow integrations with platform partners such as Stripe and Adyen. They will define the best-in-class merchant experience throughout the merchant lifecycle with Affirm, from onboarding to getting sales and improving conversion. The Senior Product Manager will build relationships with platform partners to gather feedback and insights on product performance and leverage it to drive merchant growth. They will also define and prioritize product features and requirements to improve merchant onboarding and post-onboarding experiences, create and manage the product roadmap for merchant growth initiatives, and develop success metrics/OKRs to measure the effectiveness of these initiatives.
What this role involves:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, launch and grow integrations with platforms.
- Defining the best in class merchant experience throughout the merchant lifecycle with Affirm.
- Building relationships with platform partners to gather feedback and insights on product performance.
- Defining and prioritizing product features and requirements to improve merchant onboarding and post-onboarding experiences.
- Creating and managing the product roadmap for merchant growth initiatives.
- Developing success metrics/OKRs to measure the effectiveness of merchant growth initiatives.
- Working with design and engineering teams to develop and launch new products and features.
- Partnering with commercial and product marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new products and features.
- Monitoring industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Requirements:
- Experience managing multiple technical software products from kick-off to post-launch.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfortable diving into technical details with engineers, iterating on Figma with designers, and breaking down funnels with data analysts.
- Discipline, organizational skills, and interpersonal communication skills to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
- Bias towards action and ability to navigate obstacles and blockers.
- Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into a solid action plan.
- Direct experience shipping high-quality products on time.
- Familiarity with SQL and Excel for product analysis.
