Affirm is seeking a Partner Business Development Manager to grow its platform partnerships. This role is responsible for securing and managing large, strategic one-to-many partnerships to drive GMV, revenue, and merchant acquisition. The ideal candidate will be an experienced strategic thinker and self-starter who is eager to learn and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role involves managing complex deal cycles, GTM and partner enablement, forecasting, and driving Affirm adoption through platforms.
What this role involves: - Leading large strategic deals for Affirm.
- Identifying and targeting key strategic platform partners.
- Creating and executing compelling commercial and technical partnership frameworks.
- Launching, scaling, and growing signed partners.
- Managing strategic initiatives to accelerate business growth.
- Managing platform pipeline development.
What Affirm is looking for: - 7+ years of business development, enterprise sales, or partnerships experience.
- Experience in managing and closing cross-functional deal cycles.
- Successful track record in platform space.
- Prior success building strong relationships with decision-makers and C-level executives.
- Demonstrated ability to over-achieve quotas.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Ability to craft compelling value propositions.
- Fast learner who seeks out new opportunities.
- Knowledge of payments, consumer finance offerings, or integrated software solutions.
