Services and Development Support Lead

Metacore, a mobile game company known for Merge Mansion, is seeking a Services & Development Support Lead. The ideal candidate will manage the Services and Development Support team for Merge Mansion, driving process improvements across the game development lifecycle. This role requires balancing leadership with a focus on streamlining workflows, driving automation, and fostering collaboration between teams.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the Merge Mansion Services and Development Support team
• Identifying inefficiencies in development and release workflows
• Championing DevOps practices to drive automation efforts
• Taking ownership of the roadmap for operational and process improvements
• Acting as a central hub for information flow for the game ops team
• Establishing best practices and frameworks for risk mitigation
• Working together with engineering, production, and live operations teams

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of game development, especially in free-to-play games
• Proven ability to improve development workflows
• Good understanding of DevOps principles, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with release management, QA, player support, localization, and audio
• Ability to identify key priorities and make strategic decisions
• Experienced managing projects and working across multiple teams
• Track record of defining and implementing effective OKRs
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams
