DevOps Advocate

Job Description

Metacore, a mobile game company based in Helsinki and Berlin, is seeking a DevOps Advocate to foster a DevOps culture across its teams. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between development and operations by promoting best practices in DevOps, reliability, and cloud-native operations. This role involves hands-on participation, collaboration with development and infrastructure teams, and mentorship to improve daily workflows and encourage continuous improvement.

The DevOps Advocate will play a key role in shaping this new position and driving the adoption of industry-leading practices within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Championing DevOps practices
• Encouraging an SRE mindset
• Working closely with development and operations teams
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams
• Driving awareness and adoption of tools and platforms

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of cloud-native and distributed systems architecture
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
