Business Analyst II

Job Description

CommerceIQ is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Bengaluru. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying patterns, and developing analytical solutions to drive incremental sales for CommerceIQ's customers. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to understand the interplay between various data sources, the CommerceIQ platform, and customer needs. The Business Analyst will work closely with engagement managers, analysts, and the data services team to ensure that solutions meet business needs and generate tangible impact for customers.Role involves:

• Understanding interplay between data sources, platform, and customer needs
• Building customer context and delivering analytical solutions
• Creating customer-facing solutions (BI dashboards, presentations, Excel templates)
• Processing data and building analytical solutions using Excel, SQL, Google Sheets, and Python
• Developing and deploying complex dashboards in Tableau
• Owning the quality and timely delivery of analytical solutions
• Partnering with Engagement Managers to align on requirements

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with data manipulation using Excel and SQL
• Moderate experience with analytical tools R/ Python
• Moderate expertise in data visualization through Tableau
• 4 to 7 years of prior experience performing and structuring advanced analyses independently
• Experience in developing and maintaining measurement metrics
• Bachelor’s degree required
