Software Development Engineer II - UI RMM

Job Description

CommerceIQ is seeking a Software Development Engineer II - UI RMM to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing features and components with excellent quality, continuously improving components, estimating tasks, and collaborating with development teams to build reusable platforms. This role involves ensuring features include monitoring, participating in design discussions, and learning new technologies.

Responsibilities:
• Implement features or components with excellent quality.
• Improve components for impactful customer features.
• Estimate tasks, track progress, and communicate risks.
• Work with development teams to build reusable platforms.
• Ensure features include monitoring, metrics, and alerts.
• Enhance operational practices, tools, and processes.
• Engage in design discussions and code reviews.
• Learn new and relevant technologies.

Requirements:
• Strong command of a frontend stack (Javascript/HTML/CSS).
• Knowledgeable in modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc).
• Experience using statically typed languages (Typescript etc).
• Familiarity with principles of good user experience.
• An engineering-focused undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 6-10 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience collaborating with other engineers and non-tech stakeholders.
• Willingness to transition into a full-stack developer role over time.
