Software Development Engineer II - UI Platform

Job Description

CommerceIQ is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their UI Platform team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering AI-powered conversational UI components, following Figma designs and best coding practices. They will continuously improve UI components to enhance user experience, performance, and product features. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing monitoring and logging, and actively participating in design discussions and code reviews. Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue 3)
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript
• Familiarity with UX principles
• Basic knowledge of Python is beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 3-5 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Strong communication skills
