CommerceIQ is seeking a Technical Architect to lead the tech architecture of its AI-powered digital commerce platform. The company's unified e-commerce management solutions empower brands to make smarter, faster decisions, optimize the digital shelf, increase retail media ROI, and fuel incremental sales across the world’s largest marketplaces. The Technical Architect will mentor a team of high-performing individual contributors, drive innovation, and ensure engineering excellence. This role involves leading a cross-functional team, building the culture, and implementing best practices to ensure high-quality software and technical processes.Responsibilities include hands-on technical leadership, architecture ownership, design reviews, and setting technical strategy. The architect will mentor the engineering team, drive innovation, and work with leadership to create and deliver a forward-looking tech strategy.Responsibilities:

• Accountable for a large portion of organization architecture.
• Leads design reviews.
• Sets the technical strategy and standard for engineering excellence.
• Mentor and guide the engineering team on engineering excellence best practices and own architecting our services for scale.
• Drive innovation within the team to bring engineering driven products that creates differentiators for us in the market.
• Works on high impact,critical, or strategically important initiatives.
• Mitigates risks caused by complexity.
• Handles most escalations.
• Determines where their own and other resources are best applied to accomplish goals.
• Actively works to remove bottlenecks and Establishes mechanisms for auditing.
• Work with the leadership team to create a forward looking and ambitious tech strategy and influence product and business strategy.
• Own and deliver the tech strategy as per plan.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in building, delivering, and scaling high-quality cloud-based software products.
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong business and technical vision.
• 5+ years of advanced expertise in software design and development.
• Experience managing multiple teams with prior experience of managing principal engineers.
• Experience building enterprise SaaS or B2C applications on cloud using enterprise Java and UI (react / vue /js /node) stack.
