Job Description
MiQ is seeking an HR Generalist to join their Talent team in Chicago. The HR Generalist will report to the HR Director and provide HR operational support to employees and managers. This role involves managing employee benefits, administering leave of absences, and ensuring company policies and practices are followed. The HR Generalist will maintain compliance with employment laws, administer benefits, support the employee lifecycle, and facilitate employee sessions. They will also collaborate with attorneys on immigration processes and ensure data integrity across HR/Payroll systems.
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Administering company benefits, including health plans and 401(k)
  • Supporting the entire employee lifecycle
  • Facilitating employee sessions on key topics
  • Collaborating with attorneys on immigration processes
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR functions
  • Experience administering benefits programs
  • Experience facilitating new hire onboarding
  • Proficiency in Workday and ADP Workforce Now
