Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description

OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings, Inc., is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their team. This role will initially be remote but will transition to a hybrid model requiring two days per week in their downtown Toronto office. The Machine Learning team at OpenTable supports various initiatives targeting diners, restaurants, and internal stakeholders, with a growing focus on restaurant-facing products.

The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will collaborate with Machine Learning Scientists and other engineers to train, evaluate, deploy, and monitor models and supporting features. The ideal candidate should possess a strong engineering background, experience in building and maintaining production systems, and a willingness to learn and collaborate. Some knowledge of Machine Learning is expected.

Responsibilities include:

• Partnering with Machine Learning Scientists and engineers.
• Training, evaluating, deploying, and monitoring models.
• Maintaining production systems.

Requirements:

• Experience building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining production systems.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one strongly typed language.
• Demonstrated experience in the principles of ML.
