Software Engineer, CDN Security

Job Description

Vercel is seeking a Software Engineer to join their CDN Security team. This role is based in San Francisco and operates on a hybrid work model.

About the Role:

• Analyze traffic patterns to identify bad traffic and bad actors
• Build & operate a scalable low latency Firewall for millions of websites
• Push the state of the art forward for web security

About You:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience handling denial of service attacks
• Knowledgeable and experienced with web servers, and network protocols (e.g. HTTP, TCP)
• Experience working in Go or Lua
