Job Description
Algolia is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join its AI Platform team in Paris. The AI Platform team focuses on providing tools and frameworks to other teams, enabling them to deliver AI products efficiently. This role involves contributing to the design and development of the AI Platform, collaborating with a diverse team, and ensuring the quality of data pipelines. Algolia prides itself on being a pioneer and market leader offering an AI Search solution that empowers 17,000+ businesses to compose customer experiences at internet scale.
Role involves:
- Designing and developing the AI Platform
- Collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and machine learning specialists
- Ensuring the quality and soundness of data pipelines
Requirements:
- Experience designing and operating data engineering pipelines in production
- Experience working with large datasets and high traffic
- Experience in building and maintaining API services
- Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
- Experience using one of the major cloud providers (GCP, AWS or Azure)
- Experience using data engineering tools (e.g. Airflow or BigQuery)
- Excellent spoken and written English skills
