Business Development Representative

Job Description

Algolia is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their xDR team in Paris. The BDR will play a crucial role in prospecting and expanding business opportunities across sales teams. This role involves qualifying leads, building pipeline, and working closely with Account Executives and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Qualify inbound leads via meetings, email, phone, or chat-bots.
• Build quality pipeline in targeted accounts.
• Research and strategize with Account Executives on approaching targeted accounts.
• Identify prospect key contacts and build personalized approaches.
• Execute outbound strategies with relevant content.
• Manage sales activities and results using Salesforce.
• Monitor account journey phases and provide feedback to Marketing teams.
• Support Field Events and Partner teams as needed.

Requirements:

• Fluency in French and English.
• Prior experience in lead generation and sales (SaaS preferred).
• Highly motivated with a competitive edge.
• Strong ability to learn and adapt.
• Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
