Regional Promotion Director - West

Job Description

The Orchard is seeking a Regional Promotion Director - West. In this role, the individual will be responsible for maximizing exposure for artists through radio airplay within their designated territory. They will solicit and secure airplay, develop and coordinate promotions with local radio, media, retail outlets, clubs, and other businesses. The role focuses on commercial country radio format, navigating the Billboard and Mediabase Country charts.Responsibilities include:

• Securing airplay/adds/rotations at radio stations.
• Promoting artists and music through relationships and communication skills.
• Maintaining relationships with radio station programmers.
• Developing relationships with music outlets like clubs and concert venues.
• Creating and coordinating radio promotions and marketing opportunities.
• Coordinating publicity, marketing, and touring with Product Managers.
• Working directly with artists and covering their appearances.
• Analyzing data to strategize plans and goals.
• Handling administrative duties.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of promotion experience.
• Proficiency in radio and sales programs like MediaBase and Luminate.
• Understanding of streaming services and social media platforms.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Positive and professional attitude.
