Senior Tax Specialist

Job Description

Superbet is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to manage the tax operations of its Belgian entities. The Senior Tax Specialist will report to the local Belgian CFO and the Group Head of Tax. This role involves ensuring compliance with Belgian tax regulations, managing intercompany reconciliations, and engaging with tax authorities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and excellent communication abilities.

• Preparing tax and VAT returns and filings
• Managing statutory financials (tax review and tax computation)
• Handling audits
• Managing intercompany reconciliations
• Liaising with Belgian tax authorities and consultants
• Drafting internal and external reports
• Supporting operations with tax analyses
• Tax planning and optimization
• Developing transfer pricing documentation
• Monitoring local legislative tax changes
• Tax structuring and restructuring for the local market
• Collaborating with the Group Tax team
• Overseeing tax compliance of all activities

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, or law, preferably with a specialization in Tax Management
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position within an international company or tax consultancy
• Experience in the entertainment, gaming, or gambling industry (advantageous)
• Analytical, precise, methodical, and organized
• Team player with an independent approach
• Lateral thinker with a creative and flexible approach to tax management
• Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
• Good written and oral communication skills in both Dutch and English
