Job Description
AI2 is seeking a Lead Technical Program Manager, AI Development to join their Strategic Infrastructure group in Seattle, WA. This role involves driving the definition and execution of AI2’s flagship projects, including foundation models, AI agents for science, and AI-for-environment initiatives. The Lead Technical Program Manager will represent AI2 in the Cancer AI Alliance (CAIA) and lead R&D workstreams focused on privacy-preserving AI.
The position requires on-site presence in the Seattle offices, with occasional remote work possible for candidates in the Greater Seattle area.
Role involves:
- Representing AI2 in coordination meetings with alliance members.
- Identifying external risks and opportunities.
- Defining and implementing program management systems.
- Ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Modeling a growth mindset and fostering a high-performance culture.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in product or program management.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Experience building a successful major product or experience in collaboration with external partners.
- Experience in AI, specifically large-scale neural networks.
- Experience working in a research environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
