Lead Embedded Tool Developer

Job Description

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Lead Embedded Tool Developer to join its Exploitation Sector in Arlington, Virginia. In this role, the candidate will be immersed in cutting-edge Vulnerability Research on a wide range of unique embedded systems, working alongside top-tier CNO developers and hardware engineers. The candidate will transform innovative proofs of concept into robust capabilities that address real-world threats.Two Six Technologies' government customers rely on them to deliver advanced security solutions, and they are looking for an Embedded Tool Developer to help them continue pushing boundaries.What this role involves:

• Developing tooling to aid in the reverse engineering of embedded systems
• Implementing existing protocols into novel applications
• Working closely with hardware and software reverse engineers
• Rapidly prototyping new technologies to exploit and interact with target systems

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience debugging embedded systems using JTAG, UART, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
• Extensive experience modifying and debugging large-scale or open-source codebases
• Experience writing and debugging C, C++, Python, and shell scripting
• Strong experience using Git, creating CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to team-based development projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field OR have 5+ years of equivalent professional experience in embedded security or tool development
• Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
