Job Description
Arizona Liver Health is seeking a Temporary Research Pharmacy Technician for its Flagstaff location. This role is crucial in supporting clinical trials by ensuring the accurate dispensing and management of investigational products. The technician will work full-time for a 3-month contract, contributing to the high standards of care and medical innovation that Arizona Liver Health upholds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and verifying investigational product prescriptions.
- Reviewing and recording patient medication information.
- Stocking the pharmacy with inventory.
- Educating patients on medication usage.
- Supporting the pharmacist in daily operations.
- Maintaining a clean and safe pharmacy.
- Disbursing medications to patients.
- Answering patient questions.
- Maintaining accountability logs.
Requirements:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- At least one year of experience as a pharmacy tech in a relevant setting.
- Adherence to IRB approved protocols.
- Understanding of good clinical practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- Effective communication and attention to detail.
- Bilingual (Spanish-Speaking) preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or active Pharmacy Tech license preferred.
Role Offers:
