Job Description

Arizona Liver Health is seeking a Clinic Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their team in Chandler, AZ. The successful candidate will be a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in gastroenterology (GI) and/or hepatology. This role is crucial in providing innovative patient care for individuals affected by liver disease.Arizona Liver Health is dedicated to driving high standards of care and advancing medical innovation through leading clinical trials, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance, and generating high-quality clinical data.The role involves:

• Performing patient evaluations, consults, and review of pretreatment for standard of care patients
• Performing specialized procedures and working with MD on patient diagnosis
• Counseling patients and their families, as well as collaborating with appropriate physicians to provide other appropriate direct care interventions
• Serving as the primary point of contact and assuming responsibilities for managing patient care

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and EMR systems (eCW)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain good working relationships
• Ability to perform in-clinic procedures (such as fibroscans) independently
• Autonomous in call-rotation
• Ability to diagnose and make treatment decisions for patients
• At least one (1) year experience working in a clinic or hospital setting as an NP or PA, 3+ years experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program from an accredited institution
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with current RN and NP License required
• Graduate of a university program approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education (ARCE) for the Physician Assistant with certification by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Active license to practice in Arizona
• Must maintain certifications as required by department or division
• Completion of GCP and IATA trainings at hire
