Arizona Liver Health is seeking a Clinic Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their team in Chandler, AZ. The successful candidate will be a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in gastroenterology (GI) and/or hepatology. This role is crucial in providing innovative patient care for individuals affected by liver disease.

The role involves: - Performing patient evaluations, consults, and review of pretreatment for standard of care patients
- Performing specialized procedures and working with MD on patient diagnosis
- Counseling patients and their families, as well as collaborating with appropriate physicians to provide other appropriate direct care interventions
- Serving as the primary point of contact and assuming responsibilities for managing patient care
Requirements: - Proficiency in Microsoft applications and EMR systems (eCW)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain good working relationships
- Ability to perform in-clinic procedures (such as fibroscans) independently
- Autonomous in call-rotation
- Ability to diagnose and make treatment decisions for patients
- At least one (1) year experience working in a clinic or hospital setting as an NP or PA, 3+ years experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program from an accredited institution
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with current RN and NP License required
- Graduate of a university program approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education (ARCE) for the Physician Assistant with certification by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Active license to practice in Arizona
- Must maintain certifications as required by department or division
- Completion of GCP and IATA trainings at hire
