Job Description
Arizona Liver Health is seeking a Physician - Hepatologist to diagnose, treat, and manage complex diseases and disorders affecting major organ systems. The Physician will serve as the Principal Investigator (PI) for clinical trials aimed at advancing treatments for multi-organ diseases.
- Diagnose and treat diseases impacting multiple organ systems.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams.
- Provide ongoing monitoring of patients’ health.
- Stay updated on medical research and advancements.
- Educate patients and families about their conditions.
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Offer specialized consultation to other healthcare professionals.
- Serve as the Principal Investigator (PI) for clinical trials.
- Ensure clinical trials comply with regulatory requirements.
- Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible patients for clinical studies.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of clinical data.
- Coordinate with research teams, sponsors, and regulatory agencies.
- Analyze clinical trial outcomes and provide detailed reports.
- Ensure the protection of patient rights and confidentiality.
- Mentor and supervise junior researchers, clinicians, and research staff.
- Contribute to the writing of clinical trial publications.
- Execute required trainings as assigned by the Regulatory and Compliance department.
- Extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and managing diseases involving multiple organ systems.
- Mastery in interpreting complex diagnostic tests.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven experience in conducting clinical research and serving as a Primary Investigator.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial methodologies, regulatory guidelines, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Leadership and mentorship experience within a healthcare setting.
- Experience in academic medicine or clinical research related to multi-organ diseases.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data management for clinical trials.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD, DO or equivalent) from a US accredited institution
- Board certification in relevant Specialty
- Advanced fellowship or training in multi-organ diseases
- Valid medical license and ability to practice in the state of Arizona
- Must have valid documentation and authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
