Insurance Operations Manager

Job Description

Farther is seeking an Insurance Operations Manager to revolutionize insurance planning for advisors and clients. This role is at the intersection of technology and insurance solutions. The Insurance Operations Manager will work with Farther's platform to deliver seamless insurance experiences while ensuring compliance and optimal outcomes. Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily insurance operations including carrier appointments, licensing, and advisor requests
• Manage billing setup and reporting with IMOs and carriers
• Proactively manage carriers and insurance relationships
• Serve as primary point of contact for advisors and insurance partners
• Lead educational seminars and provide one-on-one consultations
• Generate and analyze insurance illustrations and maintain documentation
• Support new insurance illustration development, implementation, and conversions
• Create presentations with insights and recommendations for improvements
• Identify opportunities to improve data flow and processes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on insurance experience, including life, annuities, long term care, and disability insurance
• CLU, CISR, CIC or similar industry certification
• Deep understanding of state, national, and SEC regulations pertaining to insurance
• Track record of managing multiple client relationships
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and communication
• Data analysis skills
