Job Description

Goodnotes is seeking an experienced AI Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on developing AI capabilities. The role involves managing Machine Learning, Full-Stack, and iOS engineers, providing technical leadership, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.

The AI Engineering Manager will work closely with the Head of AI Engineering to define and execute engineering strategies aligned with company goals. They will also mentor and coach team members, fostering their professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end ownership of AI projects.
• Leading a multi-disciplinary team.
• Tackling challenging problems in multimodal LLM agents.
• Defining and executing engineering strategies.
• Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
• Mentoring and coaching team members.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of leading AI product development.
• Experience in managing engineering teams.
• Big tech people management experience combined with startup mindset
• Solid mathematical foundation in deep learning techniques, LLM and NLP
• Strong background in general software development.
• Proficiency in Python; experience with Swift is preferred.
• Passion for AI technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of best practices in software development.
