QA Team Lead

Job Description

• Lead the QA team in planning, executing, and evaluating testing activities
• Improve, develop, and implement QA processes and procedures
• Participate in daily activities and Scrum ceremonies
• Engage in testing activities and create test documentation
• Define test strategies and test plans
• Analyze test results and provide feedback
• Handle production incidents and troubleshooting
• Report and escalate bugs and incidents
• Define automation scope and oversee test execution
• Work with cross-functional teams
• Mentor and coach QA team members
• Conduct interviews with QA candidates

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with 2+ years in QA team leading
• Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies
• Experience in measuring testing coverage and efficiency
• Proficiency in requirements-based testing techniques
• Practical experience with Task Management Systems
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining test documentation
• Experience in API testing (Postman or similar)
• Experience or comprehension of automation testing
• Proficiency with logging tools like Kibana, OpenSearch
• Experience with testing web-based applications with API integrations
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of OOP principles
• Experience in developing onboarding plans and providing mentorship
• Good written and spoken English
